Please be advised that Shiva Health closed unexpectedly on the Winter Solstice, 22nd December 2012.
I had dearly hoped Shiva Health would continue as envisaged with another suitable yogi holding the space, but it seems the universe had other plans. So now, with love and gratitude for all that it has brought me and anyone else involved in the centre, I accept and surrender gracefully to the divine plan in absolute trust.
We opened on the Autumn Equinox 5 years ago, gathering the gifts of the harvest and we closed the doors yesterday on the Winter Solstice - it is time for feasting, rejoicing, giving, sharing, regeneration and rebirth, which feels quite appropriate. Time to celebrate!
The 5 years of Shiva Health have been a wonderful experience and journey for me on both personal and professional levels. It is my intention to focus on being mother to my beautiful boy Jove Dharmajyoti, however I do still intend to initiate a Yoga Residential Retreat Centre in Sussex, a non-profit organization, which will run as an ashram. I know the funds will come to make this dream a reality very soon - if you would like to contribute to this project in any way, please do get in touch by email.
Thank you for your loving support over the years, everyone involved has made Shiva Health such a wonderful place to be, teach, practice and heal. I hope that the loving spirit of Shiva Rooms has touched you in some way. If you would like to add yourself to the mailing list (see link on left), please do so before 11th January 2012 and I will keep you posted with any news of finding land/property for this project in time.
